She was predeceased by: her husband John A. "Jack" Roper; her parents, Doris Matheson and Hector McNeill; and her siblings, Flora Kate Hanna, Hector Buchannan McNeill, Robert Matheson McNeill, Franklin Purcell McNeill and Thomas Alexander McNeill.
She is survived by: her sister Doris McNeill Johnston; her siblings-in-law, Helen McNeill and Jim Hanna; her children, Gwynne Roper Bennett and John Archer Roper; her daughter-in-law Janie; her grandchildren, Jeff Roper (Leslie), Suzanne Dakil (Tim) and Ginny Buddenberg (Andrew); her stepgrandson David Bennett; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Roper, Daniel Roper, Austin Dakil, Conner Dakil, Edie Buddenberg and Sophie Buddenberg.
