She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Juan Eufemio and Petra Guerrero Castro; and her children, Nanette Sanchez-Vega, Stephanie Alleyne, Michael R. Alleyne and Aquilino Alberto Sanchez. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
