It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Barefoot of Raeford, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. E. Nealy and Roby Nealy; her husband Charles Barefoot; and her son Eddie Barefoot. She is survived by: her son Randy Barefoot of Raeford, NC; her daughter-in-law Cathy Barefoot of Matthews, NC; her grandchildren, Brandon Barefoot (Leslie) of Morehead City, NC, Ashley Barefoot of Raleigh, NC and Chelsea Hughes (Brad) of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Hudson Barefoot, Harper Barefoot, Camden Hughes and Beckett Hughes; and her sister Doney Hogan (Russell) of Burlington, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
