As Bernie departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bernie. Though Bernie may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Debra Hamilton. He is survived by: his children, Calvin Hamilton, Eric Hamilton, Erica Hamilton, Naceska Young and Tyrell Young; and his sister Sarah Hamilton Clark.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pauline T Buie Chapel (543 Vass Rd, Raeford, NC 28376). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Christ Freewill Baptist Church (3208 Fayetteville Rd, Raeford, NC 28376). A committal service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at 601 Scott Currie Rd, Raeford, NC 28376.
