He was predeceased by: his nephew Aaron Thomas. He is survived by: his parents, William S. "Bill" Thomas Jr and Virginia Miller Thomas; his wife Becki Warren Thomas; his children, Leah Thomas Johnson (Chris) of Millers Creek, NC and Andrew Thomas (Melissa) of Wilkesboro, NC; his siblings, Anita Ritchie (Ray) of Freehold, NJ and Sonny Thomas (Sandra) of Winston-Salem, NC; and his grandsons, Luke Thomas Bumgarner, Charlie Thomas and Oliver Thomas. He is also survived by three nieces and five nephews.
