He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Hampton and Ina Mae Ballard Wyatt; his wife Mary Frances Jenkins Wyatt; and his siblings, Tabor Junior Wyatt (Gwyn), John Calvin Wyatt (Pamela), Helen Bernice Elledge (Ed), Gaynell Lawless and Carol Jean Martin.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Wyatt Smith (Dexter) of Ash, Anita Wyatt Caldwell (Timothy) of North Wilkesboro and Valerie Key (Matthew) of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Timothy Wayne Moose, Jr., Daniel Lee Moose, Laura Michelle Smith, Matthew Forrest Prevette, Jennifer Ashley Key, Andrea Nicole Moose, Emilee Faith Prevette, Joshua Garrett Mosteller, Madison Lynn Caldwell, Brianna Hope Key, Landon Michael Caldwell and Carrie Ann Alyssa Key; his great grandchildren, Jordan Alan Miller, Philip Matthew Moose, Hunter Lee Moose, Liam Matthew Prevette, Samuel Ryan Moose, Jeremiah Wayne Moose and Michael Alexander Moose; and his sisters, Hattie Mae Callender (Gene) of McGrady, Sadie Chipman (Roger) of North Wilkesboro, Virginia Patrick of Newport News and Evelyn Hollis (Joe) of Hope, Arkansas..
