He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Otis and Lilly Biddle Jay; his daughter Julie Jay; and his stepgrandson Chad Allen Lovette. He is survived by: his wife Betty Inez Owens Jay; his children, Lisa Adams (Mike), Brad Jay (Donna) of Parsons, KS. and Garry Jay of Parsons, KS.; his sister Wilma McGinnis of Mesa, AZ; his stepson Rick Lovette (Beth) of Wilkesboro; and his stepgrandsons, Shay Lovette and Michael Eller. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
