She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Lee Cass and Chattie Speaks Cass; her husband Anderson E. Laws; and her siblings, Steve Cass, Fred Cass, Gene Cass, Florence Hauser, Lucille Eller, Regina Privette and Judy Tanis.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Laws of Purlear, Rev. Steve Laws (Glenna) of Millers Creek and Carolyn Laws-Irwin (Amos) of Simpsonville; her close friend Judie Laws of Kansas; her siblings, Margaret Johnson of Statesville, Linda Bumgarner of Winston-Salem, Billie Ann Weatherman of Statesville, Odean Cass of North Wilkesboro, Marsh Cass of Wilkesboro and Gary Cass of Forbush; her grandchildren, Chris Greene of Winston, Matthew Greene of Independence, Virginia and Brandon Laws (Donna) of Statesville; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Brittany, Abigail and Violet.
Due to COVID, a private graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
