With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Sue Wood (Purlear, North Carolina), who passed away on January 4, 2019 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Harley and Margie Haley Bauguss Minton; her husbands, Jerry Franklin Byrd and James Bruce Wood; her stepdaughter Teresa Byrd; her brothers, Donald Minton and Daniel "Dan" Minton; her daughters, Annette Welborn (Junior) of Purlear and April Faw (Steve) of Wilkesboro; her stepson Frank Byrd of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Hunter Welborn, Grayson Faw and Duncan Faw; and her siblings, Louise Johnston (Butch) of Piney Creek, Jimmy Minton (Linda) of North Wilkesboro, Robert Minton (Lois) of Millers Creek and Steve Minton (Nancy) of Millers Creek.
