Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leona Toms (Purlear, North Carolina), born in Linn, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 97, on April 2, 2020. She was predeceased by: her husband David Earl Toms; her parents, George Dewey and Opal Alma Baker Hensley; and her children, Sandra Whitehurst and Steven Earl Toms.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Dusty Owens, Kennedy Burt and Austin Staley (Morgan); her great great grandchildren, Conner Owens and Matthias Owens; and her sister Lorene Hensel. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
