She was predeceased by: her parents, David Earl and Leona Pearl Hensley Toms; her husband Oren Smith Golds; and her siblings, Sandra Whitehurst and Steve Toms.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Golds of Morehead City, Rebecca Staley (Shane) of North Wilkesboro, David Golds of Wilkesboro, Bill Golds (Miranda) of North Wilkesboro and Chris Golds (Beth) of Purlear; her grandchildren, Dusty Owens, Billy Owens, Austin Staley, Madilynn Golds, Liam Golds and Mason Golds; and her great grandchildren, Mathias Owens, Connor Owens, Carter Staley and Maren Staley.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Moravian Falls Baptist Church (1940 Moravian Falls Rd, Moravian Falls, NC 28654). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
