He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Bower. He is survived by: his parents, John Francis and Loraine Lovell Bower of Jefferson; his children, Bridgette Caudill (Justin) of Millers Creek and Aaron Francis Bower of Jefferson; and his siblings, Danny Bower (Cindy) of Jefferson and Nina Graybeal of Deep Gap. He is also survived by three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
