She was predeceased by: her parents, Lydia Reece and Clyde Sawyer Testerman; and her siblings, Franklin Testerman, Hunter Testerman and Barbara Howell.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Potts of Purlear; her son Ricky Smith Atwood of Independence, Virginia; her stepsons, Wayne Potts of Statesville, Donnie Potts of Hickory and Gary Potts (Gina) of Statesville; and her siblings, Jerry Testerman (Marlene) of Millers Creek, Jewel Mullis of Millers Creek, Mary Ferguson of Millers Creek, Margie Stanley of Millers Creek and Teresa Fraley (Mike) of Harmony. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
