Goldie Taylor Griffin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Goldie Taylor Griffin of Purlear, North Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Taylor and Sallie Eller Taylor; her husband Duel Clifford Griffin; her siblings, Edna Taylor, Agnes Snyder and Rev. George Taylor; and her half-siblings, Rufus Taylor, Alonzo Taylor, Hampton Taylor, Lewis Taylor, Minnie Taylor, Vira Joines and Lizzie McGlamery.
She is survived by: her children, Clifford Griffin (Karen) of Granite Falls and Sally Faw (Tim) of Wilkesboro; her brother Jimmy Taylor of Millers Creek; and her grandchildren, Kendall Shumate (Hagan) of Wilkesboro and Nicholas Griffin of Granite Falls. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
