Etta Idol Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2020, at the age of 98, Etta Idol (Purlear, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Etta Idol to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Grant and Stella Morse Church Triplett; and her husband John Vernon Idol. She is survived by: her son John Franklin Idol (Kay) of Charlottesville, VA; her grandchildren, John Oxford (Emily) of Tupelo, MS, Clayton Oxford (Patricia), Sarah Oxford (Luke Studd) of Torquay, Australia and Kathryn Idol Xixis (Eleftherios) of Charlottesville, VA.; her great grandchildren, Maggie, Bert, Banks Oxford of Tupelo, MS, Georgiana, Marina, Clayburn Oxford of Boone, NC., James and William Xixis of Charlottesville, VA.; her sisters, Iva Dean Parks of Hamptonville, NC and Elva Cardwell of Middleton, FL; and her niece Frankie Caudill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
