He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Julius and Elizabeth Bader Molnar; and his brother Joseph Molnar. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbi" Price Molnar; his children, Barbie Hamby (Anthony) of Purlear and Anthony John "AJ" Molnar of Purlear; his siblings, Elizabeth Kemble (David) of South Carolina and Robert Molnar (Betsy) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Aaron Luck (Anthony Antonelli) of Pennsylvania, Casey Handy (Robert Idzior) of Florida, Madelyn Hamby of Chapel Hill, Madison Hamby of Okinawa, Evan Hamby of Purlear, Logan Molnar, Isabel Molnar and Catherine Molnar of Moravian Falls; his great grandchildren, Vito Idzior of Florida and Parker Idzior of Florida; and his nephew Mike Mathewson (Karen) of Granite Falls.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Bud Molnar Memorial, ℅ Sherry Luckey, 405 Mountain Shadows Drive, Purlear, NC. 28665. Donations will be used for a memorial at the park.
