It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Triplett Ormond of Purlear, North Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles S. Triplett and Lorina Whittington Triplett; and her siblings, Louise Triplett, Margaret Green, Charlotte Ellis, Avery Triplett, Max Triplett and Archie Triplett.
She is survived by: her daughter Dina Royal of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, David Ormond, Jr. (Karissa) of Purlear and Quinn Royal; her sisters, Roberta Church of Wilkesboro and Elizabeth Triplett of Boone; and her sister-in-law Ruth Triplett of Purlear.
