He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Clint and Emma Louise Mash Oliver; and his siblings, Annie Ruth Childers, Charles Bruce Oliver and Donald Clinton Oliver.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hayes Oliver; his sons, Andrew Blaine "Drew" Oliver, Jr. of Mooresville, NC, Thomas H. Oliver (Judi) of Brentwood, TN and David J. Oliver (Cheryl) of Winston-Salem; and his grandchildren, Liz Oliver (Salvatore), Andrew Blaine Oliver, III (Ella), Daniel H. Oliver (Jenny), Zachary T. Oliver (Marion), Mary Kathryn Wolfe (Jeff), Dagmars S. Oliver, Joanna Leigh Kelly (Sterling) and Sallie J. Oliver. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
