He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nell Burnette Reid and Ralph Reid; his wife Pamela Reid of West Virginia; his children, Ashley Rebecca Shelton of Providence and Richard Neil Reid Jr. of Parkton; and his siblings, Barbara Church of Encinitas, Cindy Reid of Huntington Beach, Joan Rietkerk of Anaheim, California, James Reid of Bentonville and Garry Reid of Alexandria, Virginia. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and cherished friends.
