In the vast expanse of eternity, Paul shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Paul farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Wilkerson Underwood and Lillie Cornell Underwood; and his brother Leonard Underwood. He is survived by: his children, Anita U. LaPrade (Mike), Karen U. Lynch (Scott) and Keith Underwood (Karen); and his siblings, Doris Murphy and Wesley Underwood. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel (5858 Riverside Dr, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Danville Memorial Gardens (510 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541).
