He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bailey and Eva Mae McDaniel Bynum; his former wife Mattie Britt Bynum; and his daughter Barbara Karen Bynum. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Bynum; his stepdaughter Pam Dillard; his granddaughters, Rebecca Dillard and Stephanie Foster (Chris); his sister Betty Ann Pleasant; and his nieces, Pam Musselwhite and Sandra Smith. He is also survived by 3 great grandsons and multiple great nieces and nephews.
