We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Deborah Scruton Nordquist (Providence, North Carolina), born in Jacksonville, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother John Perry Scruton. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Law Rice (Scott) of Providence, NC; her grandsons, Jason Rice of Providence, NC and Cody Rice of Providence, NC; her siblings, Kevin Scruton of Danville, VA, Jeff Dougherty (Wendy) of Danville, Kathy Tilley of King, NC and Terrianne Tawwater of Jackson, TN; and her sister-in-law Vivian Scruton of Danville. She is also survived by former husband and special friend, Terry Nordquist of Pensacola, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to Providence Fire & Rescue, P.O. Box 93, Providence, NC 27315.
