He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otha Mitchell and Thelma Lee Torain Mitchell; his daughter Eveke Williams; and his siblings, Willie Fred Mitchell, Bobbie Lee Mitchell, William Howard and Joann Mitchell Swann.
He is survived by: his fiancé Kyesha Martin of Prospect Hill, NC; his daughters, Taneikwa Mitchell of Hillsborough, NC, Laneikwa Mitchell of Hillsborough, NC and Kylee Mitchell of Prospect Hill, NC; his brother James Nelson Torain (Stacy) of Prospect Hill, NC; and his brother-in-law Artis Swann of Chapel Hill, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
