He was predeceased by: his parents, A. W. Nance and Willa Howell Nance. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Scott Nance of Fairmont; his daughter JoAnne Rice Tuggle of Leesburg, GA; and his stepchildren, Sharon Townsand of Tennessee and Eugene Townsand of Fairmont. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
