He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Franklin Sr. and Sarah Valentine Raines. He is survived by: his children, Adam Clayton Raines (Rebecca) of Princeton, Russell Clayton Raines Jr. "Rusty" of South Carolina, Allen Raines (Maria) of Missouri, Loretta Ann Medlin (Dwight) of Princeton and Rebecca Ann Raines of West Virginia; his sisters, Renna Van Heel of Goldsboro and Debbie Burch (Tim) of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Amber Medlin, Jayden, Olivia (Haley Raines), Waylon (Harley Raines), Aiden (Cheyenne Raines) and Michael (Mitchell Raines); and his great grandchild Elijah Medlin.
