It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rowdy Stevenson Hill (Princeton, North Carolina), who passed away on March 28, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rowdy "Met" Hill and Mary Joyce Holt Hill; his daughters, Loretta Steve Hill and Betsy Carol Hunnings; and his brother Alvin Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Nita Jones Hill; his children, Rowdy Hill of Princeton, Luke Hill of Benson, Moe Tate of Princeton, Justin Hunnings of Smithfield, Sherry Jo Hill of Selma and Tonia Pate of Selma; and his siblings, Shorty Hill of Smithfield, S. T. Hill of Smithfield, Button Hill of Princeton, Zipper Hill of Smithfield, Barbara "Tiny" Hill of Selma and Alice "Curly" Hill of Princeton. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
