She is survived by: her brothers, Henry Clay Herndon (Brenda) of Pikeville and Tommy Herndon (Lynne) of Pikeville; her nieces and nephews, Susan, Jeff Corbett, Reagan, Robbi Howell, Lee Herndon (Dana), Jason, Molly Herndon, Trent and Jordan Herndon; her great-nieces, Madeleine Herndon, Avery Herndon and Sophia Lawrence; and also, Vernon, Sheila Shivar and Amy Shivar.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to the Free Will Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 249, Middlesex, NC 27557.
