She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmitt Martin and Sallie Holloman Martin; her husband Earl Leon Peedin; her son Donnie Earl Peedin; and her siblings, Raymond Martin, Ransom Martin, Donald Ray "Duck" Martin, Edward Martin, Leslie Martin and Annie Pearl Gurley.
She is survived by: her daughter Vickie Peedin Lancaster (Mike) of Princeton; her siblings, Harold Martin (Linda) of Princeton, Rosa Lee Holt of Princeton and Judy Rowe of Kenly; her daughter-in-law Gwen Anderson (Ronnie) of Goldsboro; and her sisters-in-law, Grace Martin of Princeton and Nellie Faye Martin of Princeton. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
