She is survived by: her husband Richard Edward Carter; her daughters, Patricia Carter-Morris of Goldsboro and Karen Michelle Johnson of Goldsboro; and her brother Tom Busch of Michigan. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
