He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vance Edwards and Myrtle Lee Hairr Edwards; and his siblings, Earl, Joe, Raymond Edwards, Becky Wheeler and Jenny Bland.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Corbett Edwards; his children, Roger Edwards (Julie) of Princeton, Stevie Edwards (Michelle) of Princeton and Pam McCall of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Taylor Halstead (Cameron), Deanna Edwards, Madison Edwards, Preston Edwards and Kelsey McCall; his great grandchild Weston Halstead; and his siblings, James Edwards of Pine Level, Forest Edwards of Princeton, Jerry Edwards of Smithfield and Deborah Stanley of Richlands.
