He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Ruffin "Kemp" Starling and Mary Robinson Starling; his brother Robert A. Starling; and his great grandchild Austin Mark Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Peedin Starling; his sons, Kenneth Ruffin "Ken" Starling, III (Jenny) of Princeton and David Starling of Princeton; his grandchildren, Cori Loseke (Josh) of Pine Level, Troy Starling of Grantham, Kelly Johnson (Mark) of Princeton, Amanda Hobbs (Chris) of Clinton and Matt Chestnut (Nichole) of Princeton; and his great grandchildren, Harker Loseke, Wyatt Chestnut, Molly Hobbs, Alaina Johnson, Madelyn Hobbs and Meredith Johnson (Gavin Wilson).
