He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollie Perkins and Myrtle Hightower Perkins. He is survived by: his children, Kenny Perkins of Kentucky and Rachel Lutz of Princeton; and his sister Brenda Gilbert (Dan) of Kentucky. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
