She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond David Crumpler, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Parrish Crumpler; her son Joey Pate; her brother David Crumpler (Joyce); and her brothers-in-law, Rodney Brogden and Tom Starnes.
She is survived by: her children, Amanda Barnes (Ronnie) and Chad Pate (Tracey); her daughter-in-law Donna Pate; her sisters, Virginia Starnes, Joan Brogden and Linda Pike; her grandchildren, Joshua Pate (Stephanie), Anderson Barnes (Danielle), Adam Pate (Jessica), Courtney Carr (Keanu) and Bradley Pate (Skylar); and her stepgrandchildren, Brittany Ellisor and Ashley Ellisor. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
