He is survived by: his spouse Bettie Pittard Sasser; his children, Timothy Owen Sasser (Shari) of Raleigh and Kelly Sasser Jones of Princeton; his grandchildren, Melanie Lynn Sasser, Timothy Glenn Sasser (Kayla), Michaela Glen Smith, Cody Lee Mitchell, Summer Jones Leggett (Justin) and Davis Patrick Jones; his great grandchild Saylor Grey Leggett; his brothers, Harry Sasser and Larry Sasser; his brother-in-law Marion Talton of Pikeville; and also, Claude "Pete" of Princeton and Jones IV of Princeton. He is also survived by two step-children and four step-grandchildren.
