He is survived by: his wife Brenda Susie Lloyd; his grandson TJ Stevens; and his children, James C. Lloyd of Pinkney, Amanda Williams of Raeford and Brooke Lloyd of Goldsboro. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
