He is survived by: his wife Ann Sullivan Smith; his children, Jack Dixon Smith, Jr. (Angelia Smith), Cynthia Smith Cuddington (Alan Cuddington), Terrie Smith Braxton (Donel Braxton) and Jennifer Smith Strickland (Billy Strickland, II); his sisters, Sandra Smith Harkey, LaNell Smith Evans (Danny Evans) and Debbie Smith Creech (James Creech); his sister-in-law Polly Smith; and also Jack. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
