She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Benjamin Barbour and Mary Johnson Barbour; her husband Sidney "Glenn" Fail; and her siblings, Hubert Earl "Toady" Barbour, Mellie Gene Barbour, Lennie Laverne Hughes and Evelene "Eve" Lassiter.
She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Connolly (Dan) of Princeton; her siblings, Lincoln Barbour of Smithfield, Larry M. Barbour of Smithfield, E. J. Barbour of Smithfield, Eleanor Price of Garner and Veronica Johnson "Ronnie" of Greenville; her grandchildren, Austin Wells (Cheyenne), Brook and Anna Connolly; her niece Jamie Strickland; and her aunt Margaret Waggoner. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Although flowers are welcome the family suggests contributions be made to Oakland Community Church in memory of Freda.
