He was predeceased by: his parents, Odie Carl Wiley and Ethel Denning Wiley. He is survived by: his wife Ree Woodard Wiley; and his children, Raymond Scott Wiley of Pikeville, Rodney Wayne Nichols of Princeton, Jonathan James Wiley of Rocky Mount, David Carl Wiley, Jr. of Wilmington and Sharon Williams of Wilmington. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
