He is survived by: his children, Rene Hare of Princeton, David Fail (Rita) of Hampstead and Michael Fail (Karin) of Four Oaks; his grandchildren, Brooke Bell, Austin Bell and Danielle Fail; and his sisters, Evelyn Fail, Clara Lee Nord and Ruby Pate. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
