He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellie Conder Boyd and Joseph G. Boyd; his former wife Delma Johnson Boyd; his sons, Joseph Boyd and James Boyd; and his siblings, J. T. Boyd, James Boyd, Jerry Boyd, Wayne Boyd, Robert Boyd, Cleo Couick, Kathryn Thomas, Lou Boyd and Margaret Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Reid Boyd; his children, Jonathan Boyd (Sonya) of Ward, AR, Jeffrey Boyd of Willis, TX., Gerald Boyd (Kelly) of Willis, TX. and Deana Dutton of Cora, GA; his stepchildren, Dale Pass (Billie) of Pine Level, Tammy Melton (Doug) of Union Grove and Anette Kerley of Hamptonville; and his sister Dorothy Hicklin (Richard) of Union, SC. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
