Thornton of Four Oaks, Barbara M. Corey of Robersonville, Shirley M. Weaver of Raleigh, Don Mayes (Joan) of Princeton, Tom Mayes (Ida) of Clayton, Glenn Mayes (Peggy) of Benson and Margaret M. Cashwell (J. C.) of Autryville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
