She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard Davis and Rushia Ann Overman Davis; her spouse Thomas Dixon Barber; her sisters, Madge Woodall, Lugean Slater and Helen Davis; and her niece Teresa Pittman.
She is survived by: her sons, Jay Barber (Margaret) of Greensboro and Tracy Barber of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Rebecca Barber and Luke Barber; and her siblings, John Shelton Davis (Louise) of Smithfield, Gail Radford of Greensboro and Holly Hollyday of Magnolia.
Although flowers are welcomed the family suggests, memorial contributions be sent to the Princeton Baptist Church, PO Box 215, Princeton, NC 27569.
