She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Thompson and Eva Madre Lane Thompson; and her husband Bobby Gray Toler. She is survived by: her children, Richard Toler (Jennifer) of Princeton and Hope Toler Dougherty (Kevin) of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Anna, Hattie, Lane, Quinn Dougherty, Sarah Hartley (Jonathan), Daniel, Will and Gray Toler; her great grandchildren, Paul Toler and Gideon Hartley; her sister Sue Ennis of Leland; and her aunts, Dr. Janice Thompson of Smithfield, Audrey Brown of Kenly and Lib Lane of Smithfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
