She was predeceased by: her parents, Ioan Marginean and Maria Chindea Marginean; and her brother Vasile Marginean. She is survived by: her sons, Radu Marian Samartean (Dana) of Romania, Ovidiu Samartean (Octavia) of Romania and Oian Samartean (Lavinia) of Benson; and her grandchildren, Diana Samartean, Bogdan Samartean, Dana Samartean, Brandon Samartean, Henry Samartean, Sofia Samartean and Ethan Samartean. She is also survived by three sisters, one brother.
