She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Young and Thelma Ruth Askew Young. She is survived by: her sons, Marcus Lynch of Powellsville, NC, Lee Lynch (Aileen) and Ivan Lynch (Shaquita); her boyfriend Clarence Lynch of Powellsville, NC; and her sister Charline Young-Harris of Boone, NC. She is also survived by one granddaughter, a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hunters Funeral Home (123 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Dr N, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church (2529 US-13, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
