She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Jordan and Mildred Luton Jordan Lassiter; her sons, Yancy Parker (Keasha) of New Orleans and Derrick Parker of Long Beach, California; and her siblings, Dr. Glenwood Jordan, Joyce James and Muriel Jordan. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
