With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Townsend McAllister of Powells Point, North Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Townsend and Franklin Townsend; and her brother Claude Townsend. She is survived by: her children, Keith Booth (Frances) of Wylliesburg, VA, Patty Lovelady (Scott) of Hopewell, VA and Trena Lopez (Larry) of Powells Point, NC; her grandchildren, Brandon Cummings (Lindsey), Dustin Hitchcock, Zachary Lovelady (Ashleigh), Austin Comer, Shayne Booth and McKenzie Booth; her great grandchildren, Winry, Luke, Madison, Wyatt and Lilith; her brothers, Travis Townsend (Robin) and Ryan Townsend (Cindy); and her sister-in-law Rita Townsend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mansons United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice in Diane's memory.
