He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace D. Price Ward and Augustus S. Ward. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Ward; his wife Wendy Early Ward; his children, Joy Rainwater (Danny), Chris Ward (Kenna), Tyler Ward and Tucker Ward; his grandchildren, Brianna, Beau, Genevieve and Jacob; his siblings, Jackie Ward, Sara Navarro (Frank), Peggy Twiford and Gus Ward, Jr. (Jeannie); and his pet Nora. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
