He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Hurley and Norman Hurley; and his brother Thomas Reid Hurley. He is survived by: his wife Patty Hurley; his children, Wayne Hurley, Jr. (Laura) of Salisbury, Wendy Jones (John) of Maryland, Angie Patrick (Mike) of Maryland and David Barnes Hurley (Heather) of Pollocksville; his sister Sheila Knight (Vic) of Cary; and his nephew Thomas Hurley (Christy) of Maryland.
