He is survived by: his children, Tina Harvell Lipford of Pollocksville, Karen Harvell Fothergill (Anthony) of Pollocksville and Shelton E. Harvell Jr. (Kathy) of Havelock. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
